| Obverse description | Central vignette is an intaglio portrait of Negro Primero (Pedro Camejo), the celebrated Afro-Venezuelan independence hero, rendered in purple-violet tones at lower centre, his name inscribed at lower right. The upper portion carries the denomination numeral 1000 in large bold letterpress against a fine guilloche underprint in blue and lilac tones, with serial numbers printed vertically at left and right. Two facsimile signatures appear above their respective titles PRESIDENTE BCV and PRIMER VICEPRESIDENTE BCV, with the issue date printed to the left. |
