| Obverse description | Printed in red-brown ink on a yellow-ochre underprint, the obverse is dominated by a large central guilloche rosette with radiating sunburst lines, bearing the Thai denomination inscription 'พันบาท' at centre. A Garuda vignette occupies the upper left, with denomination numerals '๑๐๐๐' and '1000' at the upper right and lower left corners respectively. The date '1st October 1930' is printed in English below the serial number at left, with the Minister of Finance signature line and the printer's imprint 'THOMAS DE LA RUE & COMPANY LIMITED, LONDON' at the foot. |
