备注

Thailand's Note Printing Works has produced domestic issues since 1969, and by the time this series entered circulation the facility had refined its intaglio and security thread integration to a level comparable with established European printers. The 1000 Baht is the highest circulating denomination and accordingly receives the most intensive security treatment in each successive series — the thread specification here is a windowed metallic type with color-shift properties under angular light.

Pick 139 belongs to the seventeenth series, authorized under Rama X following his accession in 2016. The change of reign required a complete redesign of the higher denominations, which accounts for the relatively late 2018 release date for a note in an otherwise modernized series.
