| Obverse description | Central field features the crowned Polish eagle displayed with wings raised, rendered in high relief in the style of the Polish People's Republic coat of arms. The date 1977 is divided by the eagle's body, with '19' to the left and '77' to the right. The denomination '100' is inscribed in large numerals at the base of the design, flanked by the currency abbreviations 'ZŁ' on either side.
