| Obverse description | At center, the crowned Polish eagle displayed with wings spread, rendered in high relief against a smooth field. The denomination ZŁ 100 ZŁ appears in large numerals along the lower portion of the field, flanked by the abbreviated currency marks. The circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA arcs around the upper periphery, with the mint year 1986 divided on either side of the eagle's body and the Warsaw Mint mark below. The overall design reflects the standard heraldic style employed on Polish People's Republic coinage of the period. |
