Reverse description A detailed panoramic view of the Royal Castle on Wawel Hill in Kraków occupies the central field, depicting the Gothic and Renaissance complex with its distinctive towers, onion-domed turrets, and fortified walls rendered in finely detailed relief. The rocky Wawel Hill is shown at the lower right, with the townscape of Kraków visible in the foreground. The legend ZAMEK KRÓLEWSKI runs along the upper left periphery and NA WAWELU along the lower right periphery, curving to frame the architectural scene. The word PRÓBA (meaning 'trial' or 'pattern') appears in the lower left field, confirming the piece's status as a pattern strike. The overall composition reflects the high artistic standard characteristic of Polish commemorative coinage of the period.
