Obverse description The Polish state eagle displayed at center, rendered without a crown in the People's Republic style, with wings spread and head turned to dexter. The date 1976 is divided on either side of the eagle's talons, with the mint mark (MW) appearing below. The circular legend reads POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA around the upper periphery, separated by raised dots, while the denomination 100 ZŁ appears in large numerals at the lower field, flanked by the abbreviation ZŁ on each side with dot separators.
