Obverse description The obverse features the crowned Polish eagle with wings displayed, rendered in a bold, stylized relief against a smooth field. The eagle, the national emblem of the Polish People's Republic, faces right with its talons extended. The circular legend reads POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA around the upper periphery, while the date 1985 is divided across the lower field flanking the eagle. The denomination 100 ZŁ appears prominently in large numerals at the base of the design, with the mint mark MW incorporated into the composition.
