Reverse description Conjoined busts of Mieszko I and his wife Dąbrówka, both facing right, rendered in a bold, stylised relief characteristic of mid-twentieth-century Polish medallic art. Mieszko I, depicted bearded and crowned, appears in the foreground, while Dąbrówka, also crowned, is shown immediately behind him. The denomination 100 ZŁ appears in a rectangular cartouche at the lower centre, flanked by the names MIESZKO and DĄBRÓWKA in the field. The word PRÓBA (trial/pattern) appears to the right in the field, and the engraver's initials W.K. are present, attributing the reverse design to Wacław Kowalik.
