Obverse description At center, the Polish state emblem — a crowned White Eagle displayed — occupies the field, rendered in high relief with fine feather detailing. The date 1979 is divided and placed to either side of the eagle's lower body, with the mint mark 'mw' incorporated below. The denomination '100' appears in large numerals in the lower field, flanked on each side by the abbreviation 'ZŁ'. The circular legend 'POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA' curves along the upper periphery in Latin characters. The coin exhibits a proof-like finish with deeply mirrored fields and frosted device relief.
