| Beschrijving keerzijde | A bare-headed bust of Kazimierz Pułaski facing three-quarters to the right, rendered in a neoclassical relief style, wearing a military uniform with a lace jabot and epaulette visible at the shoulder. The word 'PRÓBA' (trial) appears vertically to the left of the portrait, denoting the pattern status of this strike. The circular legend '• KAZIMIERZ PUŁASKI •' arcs around the upper periphery, while the birth and death years '1747-1779' are inscribed along the lower border. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Kazimierz Pułaski was killed at the Siege of Savannah in October 1779, making him one of two foreign-born generals to die in American service during the Revolutionary War. Poland's communist government issued this commemorative series selectively — honoring figures whose biographies could be framed as anti-imperialist or transatlantic in appeal, a useful diplomatic posture during the mid-1970s détente period. Trial strikes like this one were produced in limited numbers for approval purposes and rarely entered general distribution.
The .625 fineness is notably lower than the pure silver used in Polish collector issues of the same decade, suggesting this piece was evaluated for a different production tier before the final specifications were confirmed.
