Obverse description The obverse features the Polish state eagle displayed with outstretched wings, facing forward, rendered in high relief at center. The eagle is the crowned white eagle of the Polish People's Republic coat of arms, shown without a crown per the communist-era convention. Surrounding the eagle is the circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA along the upper periphery. The denomination 100 ZŁ appears at the lower left and lower right of the field, flanking the eagle.
