| Reverse description | The reverse carries a dense typeset text in Polish explaining that these treasury assignats are secured against tax arrears and other revenues under Parliamentary law, taking precedence over Land Credit Society debts, and that they will be accepted in payment of such arrears. Manuscript entries record the place and date of issue — Warsaw, 6 July 1831 — together with handwritten signatures of the Poborca (collector) and Kontrollerowie (controllers), and printed ruled lines for recording capital and interest amounts redeemed, with a final acknowledgement of receipt at the foot. |
