| Obverse description | The central and right portions of the note are dominated by a large imperial dragon vignette rendered in traditional Chinese brushwork style, drawn from the celebrated Nine Dragons Wall of the Imperial Palace in Beijing. At lower left, a holographic foil patch bears an image of the China Millennium Monument, set against a fine pink guilloche underprint covering the entire field.
