| Beschrijving keerzijde | A finely detailed bust of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva (Guanyin), as depicted in the Dazu Rock Carvings, dominates the central field in high relief, rendered in a serene and classical Tang-dynasty sculptural style. The face is tranquil and idealized, with a tall ornate crown and elaborately arranged coiffure. A vertical inscription in Chinese characters reading 大足石刻·日月观音 (Dazu Rock Carvings – Sun and Moon Guanyin) appears along the left margin of the field. The denomination 100元 is inscribed in the lower left portion of the field in Arabic numerals and Chinese characters. |
