| Reverse description | Printed in dark blue, the reverse is dominated by an elaborate guilloche pattern filling the central field, with the denomination numeral 100 repeated in each corner within solid panels. The legend THE CENTRAL BANK OF CHINA is inscribed across the top border in English, with ONE HUNDRED YUAN and NATIONAL CURRENCY centred within the guilloche composition. Two facsimile signature panels appear at the lower centre, captioned ASST. GEN. MANAGER and GENERAL MANAGER respectively, flanking the year 1942. |
