正面描述	Printed in red. A vignette at left depicts a multi-storey traditional Chinese tower pavilion set within a star-shaped frame. The centre carries the denomination 壹百圓 within an elaborate guilloche rosette. The bank name 晉察冀邊區銀行 is inscribed at top, with the Republican calendar date 中華民國三十五年 at bottom and serial numbers in two positions.

Two additional guilloche rosettes flank the centre at left and right, with the denomination numeral 100 repeated in each corner. The English bank name BANK OF SHANSI CHAHAR & HOPEI appears at top, and the year 1946 is inscribed at the bottom centre, flanked by two manuscript signatures.
