背面描述	A large chrysanthemum blossom, the imperial emblem of Japan, is prominently centered in the field and flanked symmetrically by two phoenixes in flight, their wings outstretched in a heraldic arrangement. A commemorative legend in seal script reading 御在位五十年 (Imperial reign of five decades) arches across the upper portion of the field. The denomination 100円 and the reign date 昭和51年 (year 51 of Shōwa, corresponding to 1976) are inscribed in the lower field, all enclosed within a beaded border.

附加信息	Japan's 100 yen coinage shifted from silver to copper-nickel in 1967, a direct response to rising silver prices that made the metal content of circulating coins approach face value.
