背面描述 The Taegukgi, the national flag of the Republic of Korea, is depicted in the center of the field, showing the Taeguk symbol (yin-yang) at its center and four trigrams at the corners. Flanking the flag on either side are stylized flame or cloud motifs in a traditional Korean decorative style. The denomination 100 is inscribed in large numerals below the flag, centered in the field. The circular legend 대한민국 제5공화국 (Fifth Republic of Korea) arcs along the upper periphery, while the date 1981 and issuer legend 한국은행 (Bank of Korea) appear along the lower periphery.
