| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse central field, struck in silver, displays a stylized petroglyph-inspired female figure rendered in a swirling, labyrinthine decorative style, her raised arm holding a spiral motif symbolizing celestial energy. To the left of the figure appears the Latin inscription VIRGO and below it the astrological glyph for Virgo. To the right, the constellation of Virgo is depicted as a connected arrangement of six-pointed stars. The octagonal outer frame is decorated with alternating radial sun-ray motifs and eight-pointed stars at each corner and facet, evoking a stellar canopy around the central composition. |

Part of Kazakhstan's twelve-coin zodiac series, this issue uses tantalum for its center insert — a refractory metal more commonly found in capacitors and surgical implants than in coinage. Very few mints worldwide have the equipment to work tantalum into collector coins, and the National Bank contracted specialized production precisely because of it. The metal's natural blue-gray color is achieved without any plating or treatment.
