背面描述 The centre of the bimetallic coin features a stylized mythical panther (snow leopard) rendered in the traditional Scythian-Kazakh Animal Style, adapted from the design of the 5 Tenge coin of the 1993 issue. The creature is depicted in a dynamic, curvilinear pose with elaborate scrollwork forming its body, tail, and limbs. A vertical inscription reading 'ТЕҢГЕГЕ 10 ЖЫЛ' appears to the right of the figure, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Tenge. The outer ring carries the Cyrillic legend 'ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ' around the upper portion, with the date '2003' at the bottom.

附加信息

Kazakhstan's post-Soviet coinage program moved quickly to establish national symbols after independence in 1991, and the snow leopard — locally called the irbis — had already appeared on state emblems before making its way onto circulating bimetallic issues. The 100 tenge denomination was the workhorse of the reformed tenge series introduced in 1993, following the country's exit from the Soviet ruble zone in November of that year, a transition completed in just days under considerable economic pressure.

KM#50 saw continuous use through the early 2000s as Kazakhstan's oil revenues began reshaping the broader economy.
