| Obverse description | The obverse features the national coat of arms of Kazakhstan centrally positioned within the field, depicting two mythical steppe eagles with spread wings flanking a radiant sun above a traditional shanyrak (the crown ring of a yurt), all rendered in fine relief. The coat of arms is framed by an ornate band of traditional Kazakh decorative scrollwork. The bilingual circular legend reads 'QAZAQSTAN RESPÝBLIKASY' and 'REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN' around the upper periphery, with the denomination '100 TEŃGE' and the mint mark 'KMC' inscribed along the lower rim. The date '2020' appears at the top of the legend between the two language inscriptions. |
