| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse, set within the octagonal silver frame adorned with radiating rays and six-pointed stars at each facet, displays a centrally positioned depiction of the Capricorn sea-goat rendered in a decorative spiral Scythian-influenced style. Above the figure, a spiral solar motif occupies the upper field, while the constellation of Capricornus is illustrated to the upper left as a star map with connecting lines. The Capricorn astrological symbol (♑) appears at the lower left of the figure, and the Latin legend CAPRICORN is inscribed in an arc below the central device. |

Part of Kazakhstan's ongoing zodiac series, this piece is one of the few modern circulation-quality coins to incorporate tantalum as a primary component. Tantalum is a dense, corrosion-resistant refractory metal more commonly found in capacitors and surgical implants than in numismatic applications — its use here is largely a collector novelty, though it does produce a distinctively dark, almost gunmetal centre that contrasts sharply against the silver ring.
