Comments

Samoa's switch to polymer began in 2008, making it an early adopter in the Pacific Island region — but the 2025 issue represents a continuation of that commitment rather than a new direction. The Central Bank of Samoa has worked with Note Printing Australia on previous polymer series, though confirmation of the printer for this specific release remains pending at time of cataloging.

The 100 Tālā is the highest denomination in the Samoan series, and high-denomination polymer notes from small Pacific issuers tend to see limited circulation in practice, with most transactions at this level handled electronically or through banking channels.
