备注	The 2006 Samoan 100 Tālā was part of a broader family redesign undertaken as Samoa — which had formally dropped "Western" from its name in 1997 — sought to bring its currency visuals in line with the country's post-colonial national identity. Thomas De La Rue printed the series from their London facilities, a relationship Samoa has maintained continuously since the tālā's introduction in 1967. At 100 tālā, this was the highest denomination in circulation at the time of issue, making it a note most Samoans encountered rarely if at all in everyday transactions.
