| 备注 |
Issued to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Toqtoğul Satılğan (1864–1933), the most celebrated Kyrgyz aqyn — an improvising poet-musician in the oral epic tradition. Commemorative notes from the Kyrgyz Republic are rare enough that this one attracted collector attention on issue, despite the modest face value. The National Bank had previously produced commemorative polymer and paper issues, but this one returned to paper with a single-layer watermark security package that struck some specialists as thin for a 2014 production.
Toqtoğul was exiled to Siberia by Tsarist authorities in the 1890s for his verses — the note's commemorative purpose carries weight that a standard circulation issue would not.
