Obverse description Black intaglio on a yellow-orange guilloche underprint. At left, a finely engraved vignette of a rubber tree worker tapping latex from a tree trunk; the ornate border incorporates repeated denomination numerals '10' in the side panels. The issuing bank's title appears in a curved banner across the top, with serial numbers printed in red at center.

Reverse description Orange guilloche underprint with a central vignette of a steam locomotive rendered in intaglio. A black overprint applied by the Banco Central de Reserva del Peru revalues the note to 100 Soles de Oro, with the new denomination and the issuing bank's name superimposed over the original Banco de Reserva del Peru design.
