Reverse description A large intaglio architectural vignette occupies the full centre of the note, reproducing the facade of the Iglesia de la Caridad in Lima, site of the first Peruvian national congress, with its twin bell towers and baroque doorway rendered in fine line engraving; a tree appears at left and adjacent colonial buildings extend to the right. A caption below the vignette identifies the building by name, and the denomination panel in dark ink runs across the lower border.
