Obverse description Dark grey and green intaglio-printed note with a central vignette of a seated allegorical female figure of Liberty holding a staff, resting beside a fasces inscribed LIBERTAD and the Peruvian shield, all within an engine-turned oval frame. Denomination numerals "100" appear in ornate guilloche rosettes to the left and right, with red serial numbers and series designation printed above; the issuing bank's title runs across the top in a curved banderole, and the printer's imprint "Thomas De La Rue & Co Ltd" appears at the foot. Place of issue LIMA and the date are printed in the lower margin flanking the denomination legend.
