| 背面描述 | A facing bust portrait of Mirzo Ulugʻbek (1394–1449), the Timurid sultan, astronomer, and mathematician, is rendered in high relief at the centre of the field, depicted wearing an elaborately decorated turban with a plume ornament and richly embroidered robes. The portrait is framed by an ornamental arabesque inner border evoking Central Asian decorative tradition.
