Obverse description The national coat of arms of Uzbekistan occupies the central field, depicting a Humo bird with outstretched wings set against a rising sun with radiating rays, framed by wheat stalks on the right and cotton bolls on the left, tied at the base with a ribbon bearing the inscription OZBEKISTON. A crescent moon and eight-pointed star appear above the emblem. The circular legend O'ZBEKISTON MARKAZIY BANKI runs along the upper periphery, with the fineness mark Ag 999,9 to the lower left, the weight 31,1 gr to the lower right, and the date 2001 at the bottom. The entire design is bordered by a ring of raised dots.
