| 备注 |
Šibenik's 2013 issue is a modern local currency token — part of the broader Croatian "lokalna valuta" movement that gained traction in several Dalmatian towns as a way to encourage spending within local economies. These are not legal tender and carry no redemption obligation from the Croatian National Bank. The bagatina itself is a historical Venetian small coin denomination, revived here as a deliberate nod to Šibenik's centuries under Serenissima rule.
The watermark security feature on what is essentially a municipal scrip note is an unusual production choice — more elaborate than most comparable local issues from the region.
