Описание аверса	Central coat of arms of Somalia depicted in high relief against a mirror-polished field, featuring a vertically striped shield charged with a five-pointed star, supported on either side by a standing leopard rampant, the whole resting on two crossed spears bound with a ribbon. The legend SOMALI REPUBLIC arcs along the upper periphery within a beaded border, the date 20 22 flanks the shield at mid-field, and the denomination 100 SHILLINGS is inscribed along the lower arc.

These pieces never reached Mogadishu. The leopard entered the series in 2019, joining the elephant issues that had anchored the program since the 1990s.
