Obverse description The national coat of arms of Uganda occupies the central field, featuring a shield supported by a Uganda kob antelope to the left and a crested crane to the right, with a drum at the base and a scroll bearing the national motto. The legend BANK OF UGANDA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 100 SHILLINGS is inscribed along the lower portion. The motto FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY appears on the ribbon at the base of the arms. The design is framed by a border of small beads along the coin's rim.
