Obverse description The national coat of arms of Uganda occupies the central field, depicting a kob antelope and a crested crane as supporters flanking a shield adorned with a traditional drum and the River Nile, surmounted by a spear and shield. A scroll at the base bears the national motto. The circular legend 'BANK OF UGANDA' arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination '100 SHILLINGS' appears in the lower field, all within a beaded border.
