Obverse description	Central vignette presents the main headquarters of the Bank of Somaliland in Hargeisa, rendered in fine intaglio line work within an arched guilloche frame, surrounded by mature trees. The bank title "BAANKA SOMALILAND" appears in bold lettering at the top, with denomination numerals "100" in ornate guilloche cartouches at upper left and upper right, and two signature facsimiles with their respective Somali titles below the vignette alongside the place name "HARGEYSA" and the issue year. Denomination inscriptions in both Latin and Arabic scripts run along the lower border on a dark band.

Reverse description	The central vignette illustrates the port of Berbera with a large cargo vessel moored dockside, rendered in pale blue intaglio, while herders drive a large flock of Somali sheep and goats across the foreground in a multicolour vignette. Intricate guilloche rosettes and lathe-work panels occupy the left and right fields, each bearing the denomination in English and Somali script. The issuer name "BAANKA SOMALILAND" is set across the top margin, with Arabic numeral and script denomination panels at lower left and lower right.
