正面描述	Central field depicts a medieval throne scene in low relief, showing a crowned king seated on an ornate throne flanked by two kneeling attendants in long robes, all rendered in a stylized Romanesque manner. The enthroned figure holds a sceptre and appears in full regalia. The engraver's signature A. ZIERLER appears in the lower left field. The circular legend reads REPVBLIK ÖSTERREICH 1991 in the upper arc and 100 SCHILLING in the lower arc.

This coin was struck in the final year of Austria's commemorative silver 100-Schilling series before the format was retired in favor of the 500-Schilling denomination.
