| 备注 |
Bank of Baroda was among the Indian nationalised banks authorised to issue rupee-denominated traveller's cheques for domestic use following RBI guidelines that expanded the scheme through the late 1970s and into the 1980s. Specimen cheques of this type were produced for staff training, agency distribution, and branch display — never encashable — and were typically punched, perforated, or overprinted to cancel their negotiable status before leaving the issuing bank's custody.
Survival rate for Indian bank specimen traveller's cheques from this period is low; most were disposed of internally rather than preserved, and few entered collector channels before the instruments themselves became obsolete.
