Obverse description The obverse features the Lion Capital of Ashoka, the national emblem of India, prominently displayed in the center of the field, with the four Asiatic lions visible above the Dharma Chakra and attendant animals on the abacus base. The national motto 'सत्यमेव जयते' (Satyameva Jayate, meaning 'Truth Alone Triumphs') is inscribed in Devanagari script below the emblem. The legend 'भारत' in Devanagari appears to the left and 'INDIA' in Latin script to the right, both arranged radially along the periphery. The denomination '₹100' is prominently displayed in large numerals at the bottom of the field.
