Obverse description At center, the Indian national emblem — the Lion Capital of Ashoka — is depicted in high relief, showing three lions atop an abacus with the Dharma Chakra (wheel) at its base. Immediately below the emblem, the Devanagari motto 'सत्यमेव जयते' (Satyameva Jayate) is inscribed. The denomination '100' appears in large numerals at the bottom of the field, with 'RUPEES' in Latin script along the right border and 'INDIA' along the upper right border. The Devanagari equivalents 'भारत' and '१०० रुपये' are arranged along the left side of the field. The coin exhibits a mirror-like proof finish with a deeply frosted central device.
