Reverse description The central device features the official logo of the IX Asian Games, Delhi 1982, rendered in bold relief: a stylized circular emblem derived from the architectural form of the Jantar Mantar observatory in Delhi, depicting two interlocking curved arcs forming a shield-like motif. A radiant sun symbol is positioned at the upper center of the field above the logo. The legend 'IX ASIAN GAMES' curves along the right border in Latin script, while 'नवम एशियाई खेल' (Navam Asiyai Khel) appears in Devanagari along the left border. The inscriptions 'DELHI' and '1982' are displayed in two lines at the base of the field in Latin characters. The reverse shares the same proof finish as the obverse, with a deeply mirrored field contrasting with the frosted central device.
