背面描述 The reverse features a densely composed geometric Kufic script design filling the entire field, with interlocking angular Arabic calligraphy arranged in a square medallion at the centre. The surrounding border is likewise decorated with continuous Kufic inscriptions in a decorative band, creating an overall effect reminiscent of traditional Islamic tilework and architectural ornamentation. The date '1977' appears in Arabic numerals at the lower centre of the field, beneath the central calligraphic composition. The design reflects the artistic traditions of Islamic geometric art and serves as a tribute to the unity of Muslim nations. The whole is enclosed within a reeded rim.

附加信息

Issued to mark the Third Islamic Summit Conference held in Lahore in February 1974 — not 1977, which is the strike or release date recorded for some distribution versions. The Lahore summit was a significant moment for Pakistan's Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who used the gathering of 37 Muslim-majority nations partly to consolidate his own political standing and to push for recognition of Bangladesh, which had broken from Pakistan just three years earlier.

Mintage was limited, and the .925 silver specification places this firmly in the commemorative rather than circulation category — it was never intended as spending money.
