Obverse description The obverse features the Lion Capital of Ashoka, the state emblem of India, centrally positioned in the upper field, rendered in fine detail with four Asiatic lions atop an abacus decorated with a Dharma Chakra flanked by a galloping horse and bull. The Devanagari legend 'भारत' arcs along the left rim and the Latin legend 'INDIA' along the right rim in large raised lettering. Beneath the emblem, the national motto 'सत्यमेव जयते' (Truth Alone Triumphs) appears in Devanagari script, and the denomination '₹100' is prominently displayed in large numerals in the lower field.
