Obverse description The Lion Capital of Ashoka, the national emblem of India, is depicted in the centre of the field, showing three lions passant above an abacus bearing a Dharma Chakra flanked by a bull and a horse. Immediately below the emblem, the national motto 'सत्यमेव जयते' (Satyameva Jayate) appears in Devanagari script. The country name 'भारत' (Bharat) is inscribed along the left rim and 'INDIA' along the right rim in large raised letters. The denomination '₹100' is prominently displayed in the lower field, incorporating the Indian Rupee symbol.
