Reverse description Two classically attired female figures in Kandyan style dominate the central vignette, one holding a lotus flower and the other an offering vessel, rendered in intaglio against a fine guilloche underprint. The bank name in Sinhala script appears at top centre, with denomination numerals '100' at each corner. The English legend 'ONE HUNDRED RUPEES' and the Tamil equivalent are inscribed in the upper panel, with a Sinhala denomination inscription set within a decorative panel at the base.
