| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of the Republic of Seychelles occupies the central field, depicting a shield supported by two marlins and surmounted by a white-tailed tropicbird above a wreath. The shield bears a stylized scene of the Seychelles landscape including a palm tree and the Indian Ocean. The Latin motto FINIS·CORONAT·OPVS appears on a scroll at the base of the arms.
