Obverse description At centre, the two-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia with wings lowered, encircled by a ring of beads. The curved legend БАНК РОССИИ (BANK OF RUSSIA) appears below the eagle within the bead circle. Along the upper rim, the denomination legend СТО РУБЛЕЙ (ONE HUNDRED ROUBLES) is inscribed, while the year of issue 2002 appears along the lower rim. To the left of the emblem, the metal purity designation Ag 900 is indicated; to the right, the fine metal content 1 КГ and the Saint Petersburg Mint mark СПМД are struck.
