| Obverse description | At centre, the two-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia with wings lowered, enclosed within a beaded circle. The legend «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA) appears in a semicircular inscription beneath the eagle. Along the upper rim, the denomination «СТО РУБЛЕЙ» (ONE HUNDRED ROUBLES) is inscribed, while the year of issue «2001» appears at the lower rim.
