Opmerkingen

The Terek-Daghestan Territory was a short-lived anti-Bolshevik administrative entity in the North Caucasus, proclaimed in early 1918 as Soviet power consolidated elsewhere. It dissolved within months, overwhelmed by the Red Army's advance and internal factional fighting between Terek Cossacks and the various mountain peoples the territory nominally represented. Notes of this series had almost no time to function as a genuine circulating currency.

P#S528 falls under the broad "S" — South Russia — classification, a catch-all for the chaotic regional emissions of the Civil War period. The brevity of the issuer's existence makes surviving examples genuinely uncommon rather than artificially scarce.
