Obverse description At center, the double-headed eagle — the State Emblem of the Russian Federation — rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field, with wings displayed and talons extended. The Cyrillic legend СТО РУБЛЕЙ arcs along the upper periphery, while БАНК РОССИИ curves along the lower inner border within a dotted inner circle. Below the eagle, the date 2009 г. appears in large numerals at the base, flanked by the silver fineness designation АГ 925 to the left and the weight indication 1 КГ to the right, each separated by raised dots. The mint mark of the Saint Petersburg Mint (СПМД) is visible in the lower right field. The composition of the legends combines Cyrillic and Latin characters.
